Greetings everyone! We’ve been quiet for a while working on Silicon Dreams and figuring out our plans since the Kickstarter. Here’s what we’ve been up to!

Visuals

The game’s got a fresh coat of paint thanks to brilliant concept artist Ben Wahl! We’re incredibly grateful for his hard work: he brought a visual style to the game we wouldn’t even have considered.

Writing

Jamie has been hard at work creating a custom writing tool so we can create characters more quickly and easily! It took a while (Jamie edit: ugh more than a while!) but it should speed up our writing process.

And it’s thanks to Danny you’ll be able to say hello to Shakira Barber, our third written character!

So when can I play it?

We have good news and bad news on that front: we received a small grant which will allow us to work on the game a little longer! That’s good news since we get extra time to polish the game, tweak those android brains and test to our hearts’ content.

The bad news? We’re going to have to push the launch date to Q1 2021. We’re really sorry you won’t be able to play the game this year like we promised, but we hope you’ll like it all the more when it does arrive! 🙂 Don’t forget to wishlist it on Steam if you haven’t yet: you’ll be told the second it’s out, and it would help us out a lot: the algorithm will like us better.

We stream now!

You heard that right: we not only make games for fun (and stress), we now play them together, in public, where everyone can see!

We stream every Friday at 3pm Central European Time. We’re largely doing it for fun but it won’t hurt if we also pick up a few players this way too. Feel free to join us for a chill “Clockwork Bird after hours” stream here on Twitch.
